Volunteer Opportunities

The CBC is a non-profit organization and is solely supported by philanthropic partners, community support, grants, and fundraising events. Volunteers help with a variety of opportunities including fundraisers, events, spreading the word, assisting with group facilitation, and other projects as needed.  

See our event page with examples of just some of the events held throughout the year. These include both child/family and community based events. You can show your support of the CBC by volunteering and/or attending any of our fundraisers or awareness building events. Community service hours are available for students who give their time as volunteers.

VOLUNTEER & COMMUNITY SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES WITH CBC

• Create Bracelets of Hope for new CBC Group Participants to be included in their Welcome Packet
• Write Notes of Hope for CBC Group Participants
• Volunteer at Steps for Healing held each November at Zoo Miami Volunteer Application Survey (surveymonkey.com)
• Create a fundraiser to raise money for CBC and help grieving children and families
• Host a supply drive to fulfill CBC’s Amazon Wishlist
