Become a Group Facilitator

Volunteering with the Children’s Bereavement Center can be a wonderfully rewarding opportunity for those who would like to support grieving children and families in their community. Depending on availability, CBC has volunteers help to co-facilitate our Bereavement Peer Support groups where participants share with one another as they adjust their lives to loss.

The CBC relies on a large team of Volunteer Group Facilitators for all of our group meetings. All facilitators receive comprehensive training through CBC's Lift From Loss Training Institute to develop the knowledge and skills needed to provide compassionate, peer-based grief support.  Facilitators are asked to make a commitment to a full year and other requirements are available upon request or once you complete the volunteer interest form here.
