Legacy Grief Group: A Space for those further along in their grief journey
This support group is ideal for those navigating the ongoing journey of grief who wish to engage in a healing space that acknowledges the enduring impacts of grief. Whether your loss was recent or occurred many years ago, this group can offer a place to process emotions, learn from others, and find comfort in the shared human experience of loss.
Meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM, registration is required.
About Lift from Loss Groups for Adults
- CBC’s Lift from Loss peer grief support groups are FREE
- Groups meet weekly in the evenings
- Registration is required and ongoing
- Groups for young adults (18+) & older adults
- Groups run by mental health professionals
- Activities include candle lighting ceremonies
- Participants decide how long they wish to attend group
- Open to anyone who has lost a loved one as a result of illness, accident, suicide or homicide
- Spanish language groups available
- Haitian-Creole language groups available
- Dedicated perinatal and infant loss groups for child loss before birth or during infancy available for mothers, fathers and couples
- Dedicated child loss group for parents and caregivers who have lost a child of any age
- Dedicated legacy groups for those further along in their grief journey

Grief Support Groups for the entire family
The Children’s Bereavement Center® (CBC) in provides bereavement support to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
