Edna R. Quiros, M.DIV, BCC

Edna R. Quiros is originally from NYC’s Lower East Side, moved to South Florida with her daughter Selena in 2004, and lives in Miami Lakes. She has worked for CBC since 2010 in different roles such as Children Co-Facilitator, English Adult Co-Facilitator, Surfside Co-Facilitator, Spanish Co-Facilitator, and most recently, Intake Coordinator.

Beyond her work with CBC, Edna worked with the Department of Mental Health in NYC Early Intervention as a Regional Director for children from birth to 3 years old with developmental delays, worked with Project Liberty, providing crisis support to individuals and families during 911, ha 26 years of experience as a Chaplain in Mental Health, Health Care, and Hospice. Her role as a Certified Spiritual Director for 15 years and an End-of-Life for seven years reflects her dedication to providing guidance, comfort, and care in profoundly meaningful areas to grieving individuals and families.

Edna is the caregiver of her 89-year-old mother, who has inspired her throughout her life. She has passions such as providing care to children and families, advocating for the Latino population, pursuing her Doctor of Ministry, meditation, self-compassion, death and dying, facilitating groups, grief support, and teaching about her passions. She enjoys nature, the ocean, lakes, quiet times, meditation, music, journaling, art, and spending time with family in her free time. Her spirituality is a vital resource for her.
