Sandra Seals has over 20 years of experience in affordable housing and finance. Her experience includes project management, relationship management, workforce development, strategic planning, project management, contract negotiations and public and government relations. As Senior Vice President of Development, she manages all aspects of the development process, including leveraging and securing project financing and coordinating a diverse team of specialists, consultants, investors, residents, stakeholders and public officials for her projects in Georgia, Florida and the United States Virgin Islands. Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Seals served as acquisitions manager at National Equity Fund, Inc., where she was responsible for increasing the company’s presence in the Southeast market. She also served as vice president of government relations and new business for affordable housing developer, Reliance Housing Foundation, Inc., where she developed and implemented political engagement strategy with federal, state and local elected officials, housing agencies and key policymakers to encourage financial and development opportunities for affordable housing. Ms. Seals has a Master of City Planning degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Massachusetts. She is on the board of the South Florida Community Development Coalition and previously served on the boards of the Florida Housing Coalition, the Builders’ Association of South Florida Broward Legislative Committee and the Miami-Dade County Commission on the Status of Women.
