Chira Cassel, MAPP, C.T. is the Chief Executive Officer of the Children's Bereavement Center (CBC). She brings her expertise in Positive Psychology to the CBC grief model of support. Chira has been a CBC grief group facilitator and has her Certification in Thanatology. Under Chira’s leadership, the CBC launched a site in Parkland in response to the tragedy endured by the community, and has expanded the CBC Institute, to bring grief education and training to the Overtown neighborhood. Previously, Chira co-founded The Sacred Space Miami, a campus for personal growth; there, she created and curated wellness experiences that engaged and connected the community. Chira completed a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.
