Due to the damage Ransom Everglades suffered from hurricane Irma, we have temporarily moved our groups to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

  • Belen Jesuit Preparatory School

  • Miami Country Day School

Lift From Loss - adult support groups (CBC supported or community based referral) for adults with no participating children.

* Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, Ransom Everglades, Miami Country Day School, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, NOVA Southeastern University, Franklin Academy Charter School, St. Bede Episcopal Chapel, Temple Beth Sholom, and Temple Judea generously donate rooms for our groups.

The Children's Bereavement Center and Lift From Loss Peer Support Groups are dedicated to providing support, education, and resources for children, teens, young and older adults and their families.

There is no fee for support group participation.

Peer support groups are open-ended. Participants may join groups at any time during the year after attending an Orientation. Because grief is unique to each individual, children and their families decide their length of participation at the CBC.

Orientations are held monthly for families considering participation, and for other interested persons looking to learn about the Center. To register for an Orientation, call 305-668-4902 or 561-257-2627.
