Bridgette Bluitt, M.S.Ed.
Bridgette Bluitt is a recent graduate of the Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Miami, with a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families through culturally responsive, evidence-based care. During her graduate training, she conducted diagnostic intakes and provided individual and group therapy for youth with mood and anxiety disorders. She currently serves as a Program/Training Coordinator at the Children’s Bereavement Center, where she helps facilitate grief support groups and contributes to grief-informed outreach and education.
Bridgette’s clinical interests include grief and bereavement care, trauma-informed practices, mindfulness-based and somatic interventions, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse youth and is committed to increasing access to mental health services for underserved and minoritized communities.
