 ored pencils)\n\nAbout our Guest Presenter:\nKat Barrow-Horth is the owner
  of Robin Rile Fine Art and founder of Comic Kids\, a Miami-based nonprofi
 t whose mission is to help children in vulnerable communities learn art th
 rough comics and cartoons by donating art classes\, art books\, and art su
 pplies to kids who need it most. Kathas taught thousands of children how t
 o draw comic and cartoon characters\, and works with organizations such as
  Nicklaus Children's Hospital\, Big Brothers Big Sisters\, Lotus House She
 lter for Women\, and Voices for Children\, among others. Kat is a member o
 f the Beaux Arts Organization which benefits the Lowe Art Museum at Univer
 sity of Miami and has sat on their Board of Directors for community outrea
 ch engaging children from Title I schools giving tours and art classes to 
 these kids. After a recent feature on The Kelly Clarkson Show\, Kat and he
 r husband Reed partnered with Scholastic Books to get books and graphic no
 vels into the hands of vulnerable children in South Florida. Kat has publi
 shed four Comic Kids art books teaching children how to draw\, and plans t
 o create an entire line of books to make art education accessible to more 
 children including art books in English and Spanish as well as books for c
 hildren with disabilities. \n
